UPDATE: He first Tweeted that he would delay his Younow show until Thursday so people could talk with him about the video then. He then claimed during the liveshow that it would be out Friday morning. Then Saturday? It's now 1pm Sunday in UK......

'Royals' Parody removed from YouTube

New Zealand singing star Lorde and her agents have had YouTube take down BartBaker's parody of her hit 'Royals'.
Baker reported on Twitter:

The United States Supreme Court ruled in 1994 that commercial parody can quality as fair use under copyright law.
It is disappointing and ironic that Lorde whose song is an anthem against the excesses of the music industry is using her money and profile to try and intimidate a YouTuber with legal threats to remove a creative work.
We haven't see the video, but an artist should be big enough not to be offended by YouTube satire.

Is Crabstickz having a quarter-life crisis?

There have been many whispers recently about YouTube comedian Crabstickz, particulary over his apparent falling out with Danisnotonfire, Amazingphil and Kickthepj. He made several remarks critical of a 'Fantastic Foursome' dreamed of by fangirls everywhere. His Ask.fm account which carried apparent digs at other YouTubers and appeared to suggest Dan and Phil could be in a relationship has since been deleted. Dan mocked Chris in a Younow liveshow over the comments.
Chris last uploaded a YouTube video on 24 October and last Tweeted on 22 November.

UPDATED: Trollstationuk facing legal problems

Aspiring comedians and pranksters Trollstationuk are facing legal problems in connection with some of their 
rather risky pranks that attracted the attention of the Metropolitan Police in London and YouTube. They reported on 
on Twitter that Police had seized their camera equipment. A video which saw a prankster snatching the hats of traffic
police has been taken down.
